Being ethical and caring is deeply rooted in our Unifx values and ideology, and so is finding our own Unifx way”. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives we have created our own approach, focusing on various areas as we progress.
Education
Education is the foundation of long-term change. That's why we invest in projects across the educational spectrum, from providing crucial supplies to primary schools to top academic scholarship programs.
Environment
Environmental protection has never been more important. We want to play our part. We are looking at our own environmental footprint, and engaging with expert NGOs to ensure long-term sustainability.
Emergencies
We can make a real and effective impact during local and global crises. We have made substantial donations towards fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as forest fires in Cyprus. We are also involved in humanitarian efforts connected to disaster relief operations across the world.
Our commitment to social impact
We officially launched our Unifx CSR initiative in 2020 with donations to COVID-19 relief programs. Since then we have been diligent in our commitment to addressing the needs of the communities we operate in.
Since the beginning of our efforts, we showcased several initiatives across multiple countries to support the environment and local communities. Unifx volunteers participated in environmental initiatives such as beach cleanups and underwater cleanups, collecting over 1.5 tonnes of waste, and planting over 700 trees.
In Malaysia, Unifx volunteered at a disabled dogs shelter, while in Cyprus exercise bikes were donated to a school for children with disabilities and to the Multiple Sclerosis society. In Cyprus and Malaysia, computers and iPads were donated to visually impaired children, and Unifx employees participated in blood donation events. In Vietnam we sponsored a bridge construction project, and in Malaysia a group of Unifx traveled the Malaysian jungle to support the educational needs of, and provide provisions to, the indigenous community Orang Asli.
